I didn't get my run in until tonight. I was working all day. I got a job working at the Energy Solutions Center for two days helping with the Blaze game. It was pretty cool. I got to stand on the field and see a bunch of players. (I wish it had been a Jazz game though!)

I was going to do 8 miles pretty easy, maybe a 7:00 pace, but I changed my mind mid-run. My first mile was 7:04. I picked it up a little from there, and saw that I did a 1:25 next 400. I felt good, so I kept going at a pretty good pace. My mile splits were: 7:04, 6:09, 6:06, 6:17, 6:06, 6:24 (uphill), and 5:54. I jogged the last mile in 7:37. It didn't feel very hard, and my legs felt much better than yesterday. I was surprised how good I felt.

I am also going to start keeping track of my weight lifting. Today I did four sets of ten push-ups to start out. I then did two sets of deadlifts. 2 by 265, and 5 by 245. I then did some ab work.

Hey man i am thinking i will join your team. Dave Holt gave me a name to a guy we need to contact for the High School race. So i am going to contact him and get some info then get back to you. Good run today and sweet game. What school do you go to? I was just wondering.

My dad already talked to the guy in charge of it, and he said that anyone can be on a team. (If that's what you were wondering.) I went to Skyline High School, I graduated this year. Steve Morrin can't do it, so I will see who else I can get to be on the team.
