Today I went and ran 800's at Sugarhouse Park. I did six with the team. We warmed up about a mile or so and did some strides.

The first one was 2:32 with a big hill to start out and then flat. The next one was about 2:42 which had some downhill, flat, and then ended on a really steep hill. The third one was about 2:32, mostly flat. The fourth one was about 2:33 with a long hill and some downhill. Gemachu joined us on this one, and he did about 2:25. The next one was flat, and I did about 2:25. Gemachu was right in front of me. The last one was hard, mostly flat, about 2:32.

So here were my times:

2:32

2:42

2:32

2:33

2:25

2:32

It was a pretty hard workout, but I know I could of done better. I wanted to do around 2:30, so I was pretty close. My legs are still sore from Monday, and pretty tired from last night. I then cooled down with a couple of laps around the park.

It's okay to sign up for it online, you just won't get the discount. Also, if you need somewhere to stay the night before the race, you can stay at my house. Maybe we could get the team together the night before the race for dinner or something.
