Around 7:00 pace. It felt okay. I was hurting, sore at the beginning and felt a little sick to my stomach, but I pushed it and finished my last half mile in 6:20 pace. (Which was mostly steep uphill.) My miles were: 8:19 7:20 6:35 7:02 7:11 7:10 and 6:24 (pace). In the first couple of miles, there was quite a bit of snow/ice I had to run through, so those would of been faster.

Today is the first day of my "official track season" training, and I had to tell myself to push harder on some spots when I felt sick and wanted to stop. Every run I have to do that to practice for races.

Today was a pretty good day. The morning run felt good 27:00, pulled away from coach and Shalaya in the last half mile, by quite a bit. But it was pretty easy, I felt good. I also did some lifting, push-ups and sit-ups.

After school I was somewhat sore, but it felt good. I did 6 miles at about a 6:15 pace. The splits were 6:32 6:43 5:51 6:06 6:34 5:40. It felt good, I wasn't even too tired until the fourth mile which was uphill, and the last 1.5 wasn't too hard. The last mile, even though I was pushing hard, was pretty easy for a 5:40.

This is what I need, more runs like this that really help me keeping up the pace.

A pretty good morning run with coach. I didn't really like it though, because it was snowing. But it felt all right.

Pretty easy run on the treadmill. Around 7:15 pace. I didn't feel too good. My foot is hurting. (Right side on the top)

This was a good run. I started out thinking I would take it pretty easy, but lately I haven't really been able to take it easy. I did feel really good at the beginning and decided to start out at a pace that felt good, and not to look at my watch until a mile. So when i got to Wasatch, I looked at my watch and it was at 6:50! That was a lot faster than i thought and half of it was steep uphill. So the next mile I didn't really push and ran a 6:42. I then had some downhill which helped me run a 6:06 next mile. The first three were painful because of some icy rain in my face. (which stopped shortly after the third mile)

So the next mile I pushed it a little more and got a 6:29. On the fifth mile I thought I should slow down a little so I wouldn't kill myself before I made my way back. I backed off a little and ran a 6:44. I stopped and stretched for a minute, felt good, and decided to start out strong. My next mile was a 6:08 and mainly flat. The next two were 6:20 and 6:36. The eighth was up a very steep hill and tired me out quite a bit. So, going into the ninth I thought I should pick it up but realized I was at a 6:40 pace a half mile in. So I pushed it a little harder and finished at a 6:14. I stopped at the top of Wasatch right at the start of the tenth mile and decided to give it all I had. So, I powered down the hill for a half mile, and kicked in the last half mile flat in 4:59.
